Our Beginning
HMKIS began our journey on Amazon in 2020. As we engaged with professionals and beginners using our diamond testers, we identified a critical pain point in the industry: traditional testers consumed massive amounts of power, and users had to constantly cross-reference complex charts to adjust settings based on local ambient temperature and diamond size.
Technological Breakthrough
We knew there had to be a better way. Through dedicated technological research, we innovated the testing mechanism. By calculating the heat transfer rate data via advanced algorithms, we successfully minimized the impact of environmental temperature to the lowest possible level. Today, HMKIS users enjoy a simplified process—you only need to adjust for the diamond's size to achieve highly accurate results.
Hardware Innovation: Dual Power
Another major issue we solved was the massive battery waste. Most testers on the market rely solely on 9V batteries, which can be completely drained in just 30 minutes of continuous use. To drastically reduce battery replacement costs for our customers, we upgraded our hardware by adding a USB power supply option alongside the traditional battery.
The Future
Innovation never stops at HMKIS. We are currently developing our next-generation, high-end diamond testing instruments explicitly designed to flawlessly distinguish between natural diamonds and Moissanite. Stay tuned for the future of gem identification.
